MJB Group, a landscape, arb, and grounds team based in Wiltshire and Somerset, has recently added a GreenMech CS100 to their fleet of equipment to meet the increasing demand from domestic customers for retaining wood chips. This compact and portable machine, which was installed by local dealers GA Groundcare in December 2022, complements the team’s existing GreenMech Arborist 150P, allowing them to tackle a wide range of projects.
Max Bishop, owner of MJB Group, expressed his satisfaction with the CS100’s performance, which has been non-stop since its delivery. He said, “Within half an hour of the CS100 demonstration, we’d decided to buy it! The build quality of it is extraordinary and, after having a look at other machines, this only confirmed that we weren’t going to get anything more robust or better suited to our needs.”
With its 18hp electric-start petrol engine and twin, reversible chipping blades, the GreenMech CS100 can handle timber, wood waste, and vegetation with ease, producing lovely chips up to 4″ in size. Moreover, its adjustable discharge chute makes chip disposal convenient and simple. The machine’s compact size, measuring just 760mm wide, enables it to fit through standard gates and doorways, making it ideal for jobs in confined spaces and back gardens.
Max Bishop also commended the back-up support and service provided by GreenMech and GA Groundcare, saying, “They’re a fantastic brand to work with, really easy to talk to and no question is too much to ask. With our pair of machines working so well, as we continue to grow it’s great to have a brand supporting us that can continue to support our requirements moving forwards.”
In their sixth year of trading, MJB Group caters to a large residential client base and has recently expanded into commercial projects. With the addition of the GreenMech CS100, the team is well-equipped to tackle projects of all shapes and sizes, from garden clearances to large tree removals.
